Each year, readers of the “Chattanooga Times Free Press” vote for their favorite area businesses.
Life Care Centers of America’s local facilities, including Life Care Center of Rhea County in Dayton, won first place in the Nursing Home category for the third year in a row, making them the only facilities to ever win this category (it was first presented in 2014).
Crystal Akin, central supply associate at Life Care Center of Rhea County in Dayton, Tennessee, received Life Care Centers of America’s Eastern Division Whatever It Takes And Then Some Award on Aug. 26, 2015, for her dedication to customer service.
She was chosen from among thousands of associates in the Eastern Division and was one of only eight associates from Life Care’s more than 200 facilities nationwide to receive the award.
On Dec. 31, The Herald News named Life Care Center of Rhea County in Dayton, Tennessee, as Best Nursing Home.
The local newspaper publishes a Best of the Best edition each year. Readers vote on their favorites in a variety of categories, from businesses to services to individuals, and once the results are tabulated, the paper prints the list of winners in a special section.
